Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 11, 2026

Your privacy is of paramount importance to Syntax Sinners. This policy outlines how we handle, protect, and respect your data during our engineering engagements and across our digital platforms.

1. Data Collection

As an engineering collective, we primarily collect technical data required to execute projects and improve our systems. This includes:

  • Identity Data: Name and email addresses provided during project inquiries.
  • Technical Trace: IP addresses and browser configurations used when interacting with our production dashboards (for security audit purposes).
  • Project Metadata: System logs and diagnostic data from the applications we build for you (strictly governed by our MSAs).

2. How We Use Data

Data collected is used exclusively for:

  • Providing and maintaining high-performance software systems.
  • Security audits and unauthorized access prevention.
  • Direct communication regarding active project roadmaps.

3. Zero Selling Policy

Syntax Sinners does not, and will never, sell or trade your data. We are engineers, not brokers. Your technical architecture and personal data are treated as mission-critical assets.

4. Data Storage & Residency

By default, we utilize encrypted cloud infrastructure based in compliant jurisdictions (AWS/GCP North America or EU depending on project requirements). All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 standards.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request a complete export of your project data or the absolute erasure of your personal records from our communication logs. Contact us at srisumit96@gmail.com to initiate a request.

6. Third-Party Integrations

We only share data with third-party sub-processors necessary for infrastructure hosting or secure payment processing (e.g., Stripe, AWS). Each partner is vetted for SOC2 compliance.
