Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 11, 2026

By engaging with Syntax Sinners or utilizing our proprietary engineering dashboards, you agree to the following operational terms. We've replaced bloated legal jargon with direct engineering-first principles.

1. Engagement Protocol

Engagement with Syntax Sinners is governed by a specific Master Services Agreement (MSA) or Statement of Work (SOW). These terms are meant to supplement those agreements.

  • Project Scope: We build what is specified. Changes in scope are handled through iterative change-orders.
  • Uptime & SLAs: While we offer high-availability architecture, specific uptime guarantees are project-dependent and documented in your SOW.

2. Intellectual Property (IP)

Upon full payment, all custom application source code, database architectures, and original design assets developed for you are wholly owned by the Client.

Note: We reserve the right to reuse our own internal libraries, scaffolding systems, and architectural patterns (non-business-specific) that form the "Syntax Sinners" core engine.

3. Production Use

While we take every precaution to secure our builds, Syntax Sinners is not liable for data loss or outages caused by third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Heroku) or unauthorized breaches resulting from client-managed credentials.

4. Code Quality & Audits

We provide a 30-day post-launch warranty for any critical bugs or security vulnerabilities found in the original scope. Any issues reported beyond this period are handled through specialized support contracts.

5. Prohibited Use

We do not build software for systems designed to harm, surveillance of individuals without consent, or applications that bypass legal regulations in the countries they operate within.
